Snake River Farms raises 100% of its hogs on independent family farms that use a mix of traditional indoor and outdoor housing options. All animals are given ample space, warm shelters with adequate bedding, and breeding sows are not restricted in gestation crates. Furthermore, all human visitors must go through bio-security measures prior to having any contact with the Hogs to prevent passing any germs or viruses to the animals.

The quality of our pork is a direct reflection of our pigs' life cycles. Because our pigs are raised, handled, transported, and harvested in a humane and ethical fashion the superior quality of our end product is always evident.
